Disconnect yourself
Not as easy as it seems, is it?
You can't reach up and pull
The red wire embedded into your heart
It's crazy...
Because that wire connects you to everything
Your spirit... your mind...
And the body that encases them, dear.
That shell you were born with, growing into it
Holding you all together piece by piece
Changing you from what you used to be
Making you become what you truly are now.
Is it really that simple to disconnect the wire?
It's far from easy, and the simplest of methods.
Just close your eyes and listen...
Can you hear the blood pulsing inside your veins?
Those circuits make your heart and brain work
Without those, you'll shut down completely
Do you feel that skin that covers your form?
Sleek, smooth and flawless?
In truth, it's delicate and fragile... like glass.
Even the most tiny crack can shatter that peace
You'll just be a lonely spirit, wandering aimlessly
With no sight, smell, touch, taste or sound
Oh look! You're nothing but an empty shell!
So go ahead and disconnect that wire
I dare you.
What could go wrong, darling?

Uhm...I wouldn't dare disconnect that wire.
Lovely description of our connection to our spirit, mind and body.
I was left speechless.
